Jason Gelman
Co-Founder
Jason has been involved at the intersection of technology and business for over ten years. As an engineer at Sapient, he implemented technology solutions for Fortune 500 companies. As an attorney at two large law firms, Jason represented clients in several billion dollars’ worth of commercial real estate transactions. Jason has a J.D. from Duke University's School of Law and a B.A. in Computer Science from Dartmouth College. He is a third-generation small-business owner.
Rachel Derkits-Gelman
Co-Founder
Rachel is a human-centered designer. Prior to founding Tembow, she worked as a design and innovation consultant, advising clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to academic institutions. Rachel has worked on award winning designs at consultancies including Arnell Group and most recently IDEO. She holds an M.A. in Anthropology from Stanford and a B.A. in Anthropology and Psychology from Dartmouth College. In her spare time, Rachel can be found teaching a late-night yoga class.
Gemma Ros
Co-Founder
Gemma made the leap from the corporate world to the startup world when she joined Tembow. Most recently, she worked for a bulge bracket Wall Street bank, developing applications for fixed income trading desks. She has an M.A. in Computers & Information Technology from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in Psychology from Dartmouth College. Gemma was imported to the U.S. from her native Spain at the tender age of nine. She is a devout Whovian and an aspiring bassist.
